Andrea Musacchio elected EMBO Member: the only italian among the 66 newly appointed "leading life scientists"

On Monday the 20th October 2009 the European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO) announced the election of the IEO researcher Andrea Musacchio to its membership, the only italian scientist among the 66 newly appointed "leading life scientists".
EMBO elects leading scientists annually as EMBO Members based on proven excellence in research. With his election, Andrea Musacchio - Principal Investigator of the research group Molecular bases of chromosome segregation at the Department of Experimental Oncology of the European Insitute of Oncology based in the IFOM-IEO Campus - figures among the top 1420 life scientists of Europe, joining the 6 other IFOM-IEO Campus scientists: Bruno Amati (IEO), Francesco Blasi (IFOM), Elisabetta Dejana (IFOM), Pier Paolo Di Fiore (IFOM), Marco Foiani (IFOM), Pier Giuseppe Pelicci (IEO).
